Educartear?

Papo vai papo vem ontem com minha linda amiga Alessia, a gente discutia sobre as relações entre Academia e as Artes, especialmente o quanto as universidades e outras instituições podem ter por vezes um  papel catalizador em projetos culturais ou também podem limitar essas criatividades. E nos debulhamos em elogios ao Medialab Prado, esse laboratório aqui de Madri onde nos metemos que funciona como think tank, ponto de encontro, centro de convergências, estúdio, oficina, casa de loucos, ateliê de criativos, or whatever you wanna call it. Uma verdadeira ponte entre governo, instituições, coletivos, estudantes, pesquisadores, programadores, ativistas, cidadãos e quem mais se interesse por projetos artísticos multimídia, sempre que sejam coletivos. Um laguinho de cultura democrático onde a gente pode nadar e brincar felizes. E brigar também, mas só de vez em quando, porque los mediadores culturales estão ali pra apaziguar o tiroteio de idéias, ajudando a transformá-lo em fogos de artifício.

Abro meu email e me deparo com a conferência Deschooling Society, que vai rolar no SouthBank Centre/Hayward Gallery  agora em Abril.

"Speakers have been invited to present critical ideas on collective and participatory practice, pedagogical experiments and how such art can be understood and discussed.The conference is a collaborative event marking the start of a Hayward Gallery research project culminating in the transformation of the gallery space into an alternative art school during summer 2012. It also addresses the urgent issues that have arisen from the Centre for Possible Studies, part of an ongoing Serpentine Gallery project in the Edgware Road neighbourhood, and is the second part of the Serpentine's collaboration with The Museum of Modern Art, New York, following the conference Transpedagogy - Contemporary Art and the Vehicles of Education at MoMA in May 2009."
